Monday - Went bowling with kids. Loved it when my almost two year old got a spare, and I couldn't stop laughing when one of my kids (not the 2 year-old) bounced the bowling ball down our alley, over our bumpers, over our gutter, over our neighbors' gutter, over our neighbors' bumpers, down our neighbors' alley and almost got a strike. I did feel really bad for the little boy who was already to take his turn. I'm sorry it turned out to be the impossible split instead of the strike.
Tuesday - My son finally got his Bobcat in cub scouts. (He earned it in October)
Wednesday - My daughter played beautifully at her piano recital. It was also crazy hair day at school. This is one of my kids' favorite days of school.
Thursday - Two of my sons had belt promotions at karate. My eight year-old got his brown belt with a purple stripe, and my five year-old got his yellow belt. My two year-old got sick and wouldn't stop coughing.
Friday - I spent the day holding my sick son, finally did birthday shopping for my son and went to my husbands work 10 year anniversary party.
In addition to the above mentioned activities, we have gone to 8 dance lessons, 4 karate lessons, 3 piano lessons, 1 paramedical exam, argued with RC Willey (I won), youth activities, done more laundry than I can count, done loads of dishes every day but because my kids feel the need to eat I still have more to do. I've lifted the sad and made someone feel glad (heheheh), done homework with kids, and nagged my teenagers about grades, eagle projects, texting during school, gotten mad at my daughter for being too cute and having to many guy friends (if anyone can tell me where I can get a really cheap fat suit that would be great) ,and changed oodles of dirty diapers. Just to name a few of the fun things I get to do daily.
Now that it is finally the weekend, I confess I want to spend it in bed, but I will be taking care of my still sick son, planning a baby shower for my niece and taking my Mom and Dad out to dinner because Sunday it is my father's and my son's birthdays. I also need to make a ball Birthday cake. The great part about this week is I get to start it all over again on Monday!!! And I still wouldn't trade places with anyone for all the chocolate in the world. . . Although, I wouldn't mind a nap!!!
Busy mama! You are so amazing, I don't know how you do it all. Superwoman :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, but that's my biggest problem I'm not doing it all!! I don't know if I'll ever catch up on everything. Hahaha
