Highlights of our trip to Vegas

Driving the strip while listening to the Mormon Tab!!

Going to church in Henderson, Nevada. My husband was with us Sunday morning to help me get the kids ready for church. Then I got to sit by him at church. They had a lazy boy in RS, and we all got cheesecake with real whip cream, fresh strawberries, blueberries and blackberries on top!! YUMMY!! (Ok so the lazy boy was for the cute little lady with the bad back. I did, however, tell her I was going to go home and complain to my bishop.)

My kids all enjoyed this fun game. They would say they'd "walk down the
stairs." Then they'd run down the stairs, pushing all the elevator buttons
on every floor!! Then those of us too pregnant to walk down the stairs got
to stop at every floor on the way down.

Having a maid and not having to cook!!

Going to the Las Vegas and St. George Temples.

The Las Vegas (or Lost Vegas as my son calls it) Temple.
You can stop looking for the temple in the picture, because of the
sun we couldn't get it in the picture.

Look at this cute family picture.  The best part of this picture is there is no sound!! If there was sound, you would hear all of us being grumpy, complaining and getting frustrated (frustrated would be me!!) actually my hubby wasn't. He was being kind, happy and patient. He was also bribing the kids with treats if they "all pretended to be happy just for the picture."

Everyone being much Happier in Saint George.
Cold but Happy!!!
My daughters dance comp. The reason we went to Vegas. She has an awesome
studio, and her team was undefeated. First place in both her dances at all
her comps.

The Easter Bunny forgot the peeps-- which devastated some of my kids. All
the stores in the valley sold out of them before I could buy any. I found
some 2 week old peeps on clearance in Henderson, Nevada!!! My kids love
them!!! Let the peep wars begin!!!

No I didn't forget two of my kids.  My oldest was burning  tanning by
the pool and my daughter was at her dance comp with me.
We needed two hotel rooms.  Yes, this is expensive, (We used points so it
was free.  The only perk to my hubby traveling.) and, yes, at times it's
obnoxious.  The great part is we separate the rooms by girls in one room and
the boys in the other.  So my 14 year-old daughter, my 10 year-old daughter
and I in one room, and four boys and my hubby in the other room.  I do feel
bad for my hubby and my 16 year old Son, but I had a very relaxing, quiet,
peaceful and enjoyable time.

Spending Mother's Day in a hotel room.   I didn't have to cook or feel bad
that I wasn't helping with anything.  I went the day before to the store and
got some food.  We only had a microwave and fridge.  So my choices were
limited.  For lunch we had leftovers from dinner, and for dinner we had
microwavable lasagna.  My daughter said it tasted like nail polish remover.
I want to know how she knows what nail polish remover tastes like.  I have
to agree, it wasn't the yummiest Mothers Day dinner ever, but I didn't have
to cook it or clean it up!!!
