My oldest goes to the Temple for the first time.

My oldest has his farewell and an open house to say good bye to friends and family.

We spend a week on vacation.

We take our oldest to the Salt Lake Temple

My Oldest is set apart as a Missionary

We pack!!

We say Goodbye

He enters the Missionary Training center to learn Spanish so he can preach the gospel to the people of Texas.

On the same day my oldest leaves, my Baby Girl turns 13!!  Happy Birthday BEAUTIFUL!!

right after dropping my son off I then send my girls off to girls camp for 4 days.
I also would like to suggest that if you drop your son off at the MTC on the day your baby girl becomes a teenager and both your girls go to camp for the rest of the week.  Going grocery shopping right after is NOT a good idea.  You will come home with a lot of comfort food.  although getting a plate of cookies from a friend just because she knew I'd have a hard day, is AWESOME!! I highly suggest that.

It's been a crazy fun 3 months.  We've been very blessed and I am very grateful!!

  1. That is so much to take in. Lots of those things are great blessings. But still, it is a lot. Makes me feel bad for whining. :) you really have some wonderful kids. I love them! I hope you are doing okay with the quiet house and the long and short goodbyes. Love you!
